Instead, think about fighting disease with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant-rich foods. Chronic inflammation is the root cause of many diseases, so be sure to load up on foods that fight inflammation, such as tomatoes, olive oil, leafy greens, blueberries, fatty fish (like salmon), and cinnamon.
